There are some great statues of Lenin in the historic section made from different materials, and sat in front of a huge Soviet-era metal Sculpture/Sign that seems to been in every photo I have every seen associated with this park

So over the last few weeks since being back in Moscow we have been out a fair bit, either out in bars/restaurants or at our place, with friends, and also with family when they visited. Now I have the Canon G11 I can take an ok photo when out with friends without taking the big SLR.

Whilst Lou and did a boat cruise on the River Moskva in the summer (on Moscow day) on a small boat with about 20 other people, in the winter this isn’t possible, however there is a longer cruise on an icebreaker.
